If you spend any time around Ruaha national park, it's not long before you hear about Sue and Rob. Sue and Rob live in (an even more) remote and wild area of the park, they're both artists; Sue paints and Rob is a sculptor. They're been around for years and if you want to know something about Ruaha, then listening to these guys is required reading.
Fortunately for us Sue and Rob heard about Mkuyu Guide School and paid a visit. Impressed by the enthusiasm they saw, they didn't hesitate in offering their support. Not long after and last week I was the humble recipient of a brand spanking new computer all the way from the USA as a donation for the school. The computer is going to be used for showing films, presentations and teaching computer skills and represents a huge step up in capability and opportunity for the students at the school.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to Sue and Rob for their kindness and time. More updates to come as the students get to grips with the computer. Read about the Mkuyu Guide School here.
You can find out more about Sue and Rob here www.suestolberger.com and here www.robertglenbronzes.com and if you're coming to see us in Ruaha ask us how to get hold of Sues excellent field guide to Ruaha.
